Ashford Capital Partners

Disciplined capital, built for decades, not quarters.

Independent investment management for individuals, families, and foundations.

Our philosophy

We do few things, we do them for a long time, and we are honest about what we do not know.

Markets reward patience far more reliably than they reward prediction. Our portfolios are built on diversified, fundamentally driven strategies that we can explain plainly to every client who owns them. We take concentrated positions only where our research genuinely earns the risk, and we hold cash and high-quality bonds without apology when valuations do not compensate for it.

We are fee-transparent, fiduciary at all times, and deliberately small — 127 relationships is a number four partners can know personally. When a client calls, the person who answers manages their money. That has not changed since 2003, and it will not.

Every mandate we manage is sized, structured, and reported with the assumption that the client's grandchildren may one day read the statements. It is the only horizon we think is worth planning for.
